​Following the successful 21st Interhash 2018 in Fiji that was organized by Nadi Hash House Harriers, keen interest was shown to have more events in Fiji.

​

Nadi HHH was poised to organize inaugural South Pacific Hash in 2021 but all hopes were dashed due to Covid 19 pandemic.

​

Many South Pacific Hash Chapters pledged support and participation and we therefore decided to once again host a major hash event in Nadi, Fiji.

​

We have decided to call it Pan Pacific Hash (PPH) to make it look more inclusive, global or international.

​

We have secured a handsome sponsorship for this inaugural event. Pacific Specialist Healthcare Hospital (PSH) has come on board as the major sponsor.

​

PSH Hospital is the largest multispecialty private hospital in the South Pacific that offers most advanced and state of the art primary, secondary and tertiary care.

​

We are extremely grateful to the MD Mr Parvish Kumar for his generosity who saw the potential of this sporting event to be held in Fiji. He's very much in support of our aims and objectives- showcasing the enormous and amazing Fijian Hospitality.

​

The event promotes physical fitness, camaraderie, fellowship rid of hangovers, acquire good thirst for beer and persues the senior citizens to feel young.

​

"Tobacco & Drug Free Fiji" is another important aim or motto of this event. September was chosen as the most ideal time, bearable warm days and pleasant temperatures towards the evenings and night.

​

PPH will be spread over 3 days with Thursday opening and Red Dress Run, Friday 1st run and socials in the evening and Saturday 2nd run and farewell party in the evening.

​

The Red Dress Run for Charity is earmarked for a very worthy cause. All proceeds will go towards PSH Charitable Trust Fund. This Trust fund was created to help the poor and needy get the best of care at PSH and will also assist anyone going abroad for treatment if not available in Fiji.

​

The last Red Dress Run in 2018 was sponsored by Paradise Beverages and we are hoping to get similar level of support for the 2027 event. We collected just over $132,000.00 in 2018 and all of this was handed to Nadi Hospital Board of Visitors.
